Camp in Motion at Dell Children's

Camp in Motion is an adaptive sports camp for children with physical limitations, such as mild to moderate cerebral palsy (GMFCS Level I, II, and III), post-stroke, or other physical challenges. Your child will participate in a variety of adaptive sports group activities, swimming, and dancing while making new friends and having fun in an inclusive environment. Camp is led by Dell Children’s pediatric physical, occupational, and speech therapists and YMCA program team members.

A prescription including a diagnosis of physical limitation is required for medical clearance before attending camp. Campers should have reasonable use of at least one arm and can follow directions at preschool level or higher. We offer three camps based on your child’s age and whether or not a communication device is used.
