Ascension St. Vincent

Serving Indiana families for more than 150 years

The rich history of Ascension St. Vincent began in 1872, when the Daughters of Charity responded to the call to provide healthcare in Evansville. Shortly after, in 1881, the first Daughters of Charity arrived in Indianapolis at the invitation of Bishop Silas Chatard. Since then, Ascension St. Vincent has enhanced that mission with today's latest technology to provide innovative advanced care for the most complicated conditions and create opportunities for you and your family to conveniently find care with 600+ providers at more than 300 locations in Indianapolis and Evansville.
