At Peyton Manning Children's Hospital - Indianapolis Pediatric Cancer Care and Hematology, our hematologists diagnose and treat children with blood disorders. Multidisciplinary approach to care
Your child’s multispecialty care team includes experienced hematologists, certified pediatric hematology nurses, social workers, researchers, nutritionists and child life specialists. Diagnosis and treatment
There are three types of hemophilia — A, B and C. Each has different clotting factors and treatments. Symptoms of hemophilia may include bruising easily, bleeding more during surgery or dental work, frequent nosebleeds and heavy menstrual bleeding in adolescence. Pediatric hematologists diagnose and treat all types of hemophilia and other genetic blood diseases.
