Comprehensive fetal care at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital

Comprehensive fetal care for you and your baby means having advanced imaging and diagnostics, genetics, advanced surgical care, specialized maternity and delivery care, mental health care and the highest level of neonatal care and support – all in one location.

  • Fetal care

Specialists at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital provide care for children with complex or rare fetal and congenital conditions. We use advanced technology to diagnose and monitor fetal conditions.

    This includes:

    • Amniocentesis
    • Blood tests
    • Fetal MRI
    • Genetic screening and diagnostic tests
    • Ultrasound

Your care team takes the time to explain your child’s diagnosis and answer your questions – big and small. Then, your care team delivers care that’s right for you and your baby.

  • Genetic testing and counseling

Certified prenatal genetic counselors work closely with MFMs to evaluate the likelihood of genetic conditions in current or future pregnancies. If you choose to see a genetic counselor, we start by talking about your family history, risks and any conditions you may be concerned about. Your genetic counselor takes the time to explain your options for genetic testing and can recommend testing that is right for you and your family.

  • Maternal-fetal medicine

You may need MFM care during your pregnancy if you have a health condition, experience complications during pregnancy, or have had complications during a pregnancy in the past. Throughout your pregnancy, your care team monitors your health and your baby’s health to detect any potential concerns as quickly as possible so that treatment can begin immediately.
