Your child’s emotional health is an important part of their overall wellbeing. At Dell Children's Medical Center - Grace Grego Maxwell Mental Health Unit, our doctors and mental health specialists deliver personalized care for mental and behavioral health conditions including depression and anxiety, mood disorders, suicidal ideation and more. Our 24-bed inpatient hospital on the Dell Children’s Medical Center campus diagnoses, treats, and manages care for children and adolescents ages 6-17 needing immediate treatment for signs of mental distress. We offer inpatient programs with one-on-one and group counseling. We focus on health prevention, interventions, treatments and recovery support services.
Dell Children’s Medical Center offers the only inpatient pediatric mental health unit in Central Texas that is connected to a hospital.
