Dell Children’s Medical Center provides an outpatient pharmacy on the fourth floor of the hospital. As a convenience for families, this pharmacy is available for children who receive care at:
- Dell Children’s Medical Center
- Dell Children’s ER
- Ascension Seton-based clinics
At the time your child is discharged from the hospital, parents can fill prescriptions at this outpatient pharmacy. This service also applies to ER, same-day surgery, and clinical trial patients.
Reminders before filling a prescription
Please call our pharmacy before you need a prescription filled to confirm that this pharmacy location is accepted in your health insurance pharmacy benefit plan.
Discharge prescriptions for controlled substances cannot be filled at this location. If you have questions about this service, please talk to your hospital discharge coordinator.
This service many not apply to some pediatric specialty clinics not covered through the Dell Children’s Medical Center Pharmacy due pharmacy licensing.
