If you or your family have a history of diabetes, your child may be at higher risk for developing diabetes. Certified diabetes educators help you understand your child’s symptoms and risk factors. Our diabetes education program has been awarded an Education Recognition Certificate from the American Diabetes Association. We also provide nutrition counseling, information about insulin production, insulin therapy and other diabetes medications. We work with you and your child to help manage their diabetes. The Texas Child Study Center is a collaboration between Dell Children’s Medical Center at Ascension Seton and UT Health Austin, the clinical practice of Dell Medical School at The University of Texas. The Texas Child Study Center diagnoses, treats and manages the care for children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral and developmental concerns.
