Visitor guidelines at Ascension Borgess-Pipp Hospital

Our visitation policy allows us to provide a safe environment, high-quality care, and positive experiences when and where our patients need us. 

Additional information for visitors

  • Masks are currently not required in Ascension Michigan facilities. Visitors who would like to wear a hospital-grade mask are welcome to do so.
  • Patients seeking medical care for respiratory symptoms or who are COVID positive should always wear a hospital-grade mask.
  • Two visitors are allowed at a time. Patients are allowed multiple visitors each day.
  • Patients who are COVID-19 positive, or are being tested for COVID, are allowed one visitor per day over the age of 18. Visitors must follow appropriate guidelines for personal protective equipment. Visitors also must stay in the patient room or designated area and limit visiting other areas in the hospital.
  • Visitors must be a minimum of 12 years of age. All minors in the lobby must be accompanied by an adult (age 18 or older) at all times.
