Our cardio-oncology care program is for the patient who is at risk for heart disease and cardiotoxicity. We are here for you as your healthcare needs change. Cancer screenings and advanced diagnostic testing
Screening 3D mammograms produce high-definition images to help improve the detection of breast cancers. The purpose of our pulmonary lung nodule program is to identify potential lung cancers early when they are most treatable. Low-dose lung CT scans are used to screen for lung cancer. Colonoscopies are used to detect colon cancer and Pap tests evaluate cells for cervical cancer. Ask your doctor what screening tests are right for you. Genetic risk assessment and counseling services are also available. We provide BRCA1 and BRCA2 screening as part of our high-risk breast clinic program.
If a screening test result is abnormal, Ascension Borgess provides advanced imaging technology and minimally invasive procedures to aid in the diagnosis of your condition. For example, breast MRI is used to detect breast cancer in high-density breast tissue.
