Visitation Guidelines

So that you and your loved ones have a comfortable and safe birthing experience, please read the following guidelines:

  • General visiting hours are from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Your significant other or primary support person is welcome to visit at any time.
  • Please note our birthing center is a locked unit. Visitors must check in at the front desk before being admitted into the unit.
  • During labor and delivery, you may have up to three support people in your room, including your spouse or patner. Only your children are allowed in the labor room and must be attended by another adult at all times Any other children (under 18) are asked to wait and visit you and your baby at home. The family waiting area on the ground floor is available for additional visitors. Friends and family can make themselves comfortable and enjoy a cup of coffee, read a book or magazine, or play a game while they wait.
  • We ask all visitors who have a fever or cold and flu symptoms to visit you at home when they are feeling healthy again.
  • Visitation to the special care nursery is limited to the mother and one (1) support person who has the 2nd baby ID band.
