Visiting hours and guidelines
- Visiting hours are 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. every day
- Visitors may not enter the facility if they:
- Are currently experiencing respiratory symptoms (including fever, cough and sore throat)
- Had a positive COVID-19 test in the last 10 days
- Have had close contact with someone positive for COVID-19 in the last 5 days
- All visitors must wear a medical-grade mask that fully covers mouth and nose throughout their visit. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided to you.
- Visitors younger than 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times and are strongly discouraged from visiting intensive care units and high-risk areas.
Additional restrictions may apply
Please note that procedural and specialty units may have stricter guidelines for masks, gowns and gloves, as well as limits on visiting hours and number of visitors at a time. Please follow all guidelines and discuss any special accommodations with the patient’s care team.
Parking information
Valet parking and patient drop-off is available at the main entrance on Lake Shore Drive.

Lakeshore Café

Free delivery
Purchases of more than $10 can be delivered to a patient’s room at no extra cost, with same-day delivery before 12 p.m. Call 773-665-3353 and provide the patient's name and room number with your order.
Patients with conditions that may increase their risk of infection (i.e., ICU patients) may not receive live flowers or plants.
Chapels
The hospital chapel on the 11th floor and the prayer room on the 1st floor are available every day to patients, visitors and care team members.
