Get care for a substance abuse or addiction disorder
At the Ascension Illinois - Foglia Family Foundation Residential Treatment Center, our care team for substance use and addiction disorders includes psychiatrists, nurses, counselors, registered dietitians, and social workers. We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of many addiction disorders, including alcohol use disorders and co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. You do not need a doctor’s referral to meet with a mental health or substance use specialist at the treatment center. Our team is here to help.
Our Clinical Access Department at Ascension Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital is open 24/7. We take walk-ins and can do a mental health and substance use assessment. Your care team will provide follow-up appointments with a mental health professional.
Know what to do in a mental health emergency
Quickly recognizing the signs that you or a loved one is experiencing moderate to severe mental or emotional distress is the first step in getting necessary care. For emergencies, including severe mental health distress and suspected substance overdose, ERs at our hospitals are open 24/7. Find an ER location near you. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, go directly to the ER or dial 911.
