Campus amenities at Ascension St. John Medical Center
Ascension St. John Medical Center is a place of healing, made just for patients and families. To help make your hospital stay more comfortable for you and your family, we provide a range of amenities, including:
Chapel and spiritual care
Chaplains are available to provide spiritual care for patients and families. The chapel is adjacent to McDougal Auditorium and is open 24/7. Families are welcome to use this room for prayer, meditation or quiet time. Mass services are at 11:30 a.m. everyday. Televised services are also available on Channel 50 in patient rooms.
The Pastoral Care office is located on the first floor of the J.S. Chapman Tower is open Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. Families are welcome to walk-in to talk to a chaplain.
After hours, please call the House Manager at 918-744-2299 to receive pastoral care from Nursing Spiritual Support. If requested, a Catholic priest is also available after hours for bereavement in the death of a patient.
Dining
The cafeteria on the second floor is open Monday - Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and on weekends 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. There is also a coffee shop located on the second floor, open Monday - Friday 6am - 2am. Please contact the Food Service Call Center at 918-744-2400, or ext. 744-2400 from an in-house line for more information.
Gift shop
The gift shop is located in the J.A. Chapman Tower, just north of the main lobby.
Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday : closed
