Speakers at Ascension Brighton Center for Recovery in Brighton, Michigan, deliver inspirational stories and professional educational programs about recovery from alcohol and substance use disorders. Some of our speakers are alumni of our addiction treatment programs; others are doctors and behavioral health professionals. Our speakers are dedicated to helping educate the community on substance use prevention and treatment options and sharing stories about recovery and healing.
How to get involved or schedule a speaker
Our speakers are provided with support from our volunteer coordinator when preparing to deliver a speech about addiction treatment, recovery, hope and healing. The Ascension Brighton Center for Recovery’s Speakers Bureau is composed of speakers from a variety of backgrounds and range of experiences. Each speaker is equipped and eager to share their understanding of addiction and recovery.
