Insurance and the cost of substance use treatment
Ascension Brighton Center for Recovery in Brighton, Michigan, is a nonprofit addiction treatment center that provides many options for care — from substance use detox and medication management to intensive inpatient rehab, outpatient therapy, halfway housing program and more. The cost of treatment for your condition will vary based on your personalized treatment plan and health insurance coverage. Our care team is here to assist with your financial questions and connect you with resources.
Medicare-qualified addiction treatment facility
Ascension Brighton Center for Recovery is a qualified addiction treatment facility for Medicare recipients. For other adults, we accept most commercial behavioral health insurance policies and managed care plans.
Our customer service representative will complete a thorough assessment of your health insurance benefits, including addiction treatment coverage. For example, the typical inpatient treatment length of stay is 14 days (up to 28 days); however, we also provide many outpatient services and the length of treatment will vary based on each individual's needs. During your assessment, we will share the general costs of treatment, review your insurance coverage and provide an estimation of treatment costs. If you have insurance with limitations on the length of stay, we can create a self-pay plan so you have continuity of care. We also help make arrangements for a private-pay plan. Ask our team about possible financial assistance resources. For more information, call 810-227-1211.
Financial resources for the uninsured and underinsured
If you're uninsured or have trouble paying for addiction treatment, our financial assistance care team at Ascension Brighton Center for Recovery can help connect you with financial resources. Being underinsured means an individual has health insurance coverage, but the benefits may not cover addiction treatment or other expenses on the claim. In accordance with the Ascension Mission and Values, we are committed to caring for all people regardless of their ability to pay, with special attention to those who are poor and vulnerable. Ascension Michigan provides financial counseling and assistance to help our patients with financial concerns regarding their care. The Ascension Michigan financial aid policy summary reflects our dedication to work with our patients in a compassionate and caring manner to identify options for resolving their financial obligations.
