Sessions are held three times a week and consist of three-hour group therapy and educational discussions. Ask about our flexible scheduling with daytime and evening hours.
Medication treatment during outpatient care
Our team at Ascension Brighton Center for Recovery uses medication to manage and treat addiction. Medication therapy is individualized based on your type of substance use disorder and medical history. Our goal is to use evidence-based treatments centered on best practices and research to help each patient reach their treatment goal.
Medication treatment may include:
- Alcohol urge management medications
- Nicotine replacement
- Opioid use disorder management with buprenorphine or intramuscular naltrexone for the maintenance treatment
- Medication maintenance treatment for opioid use may not be suitable for patients who also have alcohol use disorder or sedative use disorder (patients on medications like Xanax, Ativan, Ambien and others), along with an active opioid use disorder.
- Polysubstance use disorder medication management when being treated for two or more substance disorders.
Mental health treatment during outpatient care
