Heart failure is a progressive condition. The cardiologists and heart transplant team provide highly coordinated care, with support services for you and your family. Even if you live far away, we provide services close to home to monitor your progress. After a cardiac event or surgery, the Ascension Seton Cardiac Rehabilitation care team provides education, supervised exercise therapies, and dietary guidance. Some patients are in our telehealth monitoring program so we can routinely check your vitals and your implanted device (pacemaker, the WATCHMAN device or a defibrillator).

The Ascension Seton Heart Specialty Care and Transplant Center at Ascension Texas Cardiovascular is a regional heart transplant center and includes ventricular assist device therapy (VAD) as a bridge to transplant or destination therapy. Diagnostic Cardiology

A full-service center for diagnostic testing, including cardiac MRI and the new FFR-CT for non-invasive heart flow studies of coronary artery disease.

Heart Healthy CT screenings, $75, for for men, age 40+ or women age 45+ with one or more of these heart disease risk factors: high blood pressure greater than 140/90; cholesterol level greater than 160/LDL; diabetes; obesity; tobacco use; or family history of heart disease or stroke.
