Getting a lung screening can help detect lung nodules early, when they are most treatable. Our lung nodule program is led by cardiothoracic surgeon Brett Grizzell, MD, and pulmonologist Abdel-Ghanie H. Abu-Samra, MD, who diagnose and treat lung nodules. In just one visit, you may meet with multiple specialists to get a diagnosis and treatment plan. We use advanced imaging and, if needed, other procedures to determine if your nodules are cancerous. If cancer is found, our lung cancer nurse navigator will work with you and the team to determine the next steps in your personalized treatment plan.
