Women and Infants Hospital Coming Soon
Ascension St. Vincent Women's has a long history of caring for Women's healthcare at every stage of life. In fall of 2024 it will be moving and expanding to the new Women and Infants Hospital opening at 2001 W. 86th St. connected to Peyton Manning Children's Hospital and Ascension St. Vincent Hospital Indianapolis. The new hospital will ensure that moms and their babies can receive care together.
The 268,000 square feet space will feature 109 private Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) rooms for babies who need it and 30 maternity suites for parents to spend time with their newborns. It is the first hospital in Central Indiana offering high risk mom and baby a room together, known as couplet care
Whether you have a birth plan, high-risk concerns or premature delivery, this new location will provide the highest level of care for mothers and infants with the most complex and critical cases while keeping moms and babies under the same roof.
Ascension St. Vincent Women's Hospital in Indianapolis is one of only two Level IV Perinatal Healthcare Centers in Indiana, while Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital has a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center. Combining the level of advanced specialized care will give families the best women's health and pediatric care throughout the state and region.
Rural and Urban Access to Health (RUAH)
Rural and Urban Access to Health (RUAH) is a community-based care coordination program sponsored by Ascension Medical Group – St. Vincent. Inspired by the work of St. Vincent de Paul, the purpose of RUAH is to connect our friends, family and neighbors to a combined network of health, human and social services resulting in improved access to care and removal of barriers to needed resources.
