Ascension Sacred Heart Bay Emergency Room at Panama City Beach delivers 24/7 emergency care for your entire family. We treat common illnesses as well as serious and life-threatening injuries. The facility features nine treatment rooms, including rooms designed specifically for children, as well as a trauma room. The ER is staffed by emergency medicine physicians, nurses, paramedics and respiratory therapists, all trained in both adult and pediatric emergency medicine, trauma and intensive care. In addition, the facility provides the lab services and imaging service including, CT and x-ray.
The Emergency Department is operated by Ascension Sacred Heart Bay as well as the Studer Family Children’s Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart. Ascension Sacred Heart Bay provides a Level II Trauma Center, Level II Adult Cardiovascular Center, AHA Gold Level Stroke Center and AHA Gold Level PCI. Studer Family Children’s Hospital is the region's only pediatric hospital and pediatric trauma center, providing children's care across 30 pediatric subspecialties. The facility offers a wide range of services to meet all of a child’s medical needs, including neonatal intensive care, pediatric intensive care, cancer care, rehabilitation and a medical staff of more than 120 board-certified doctors.
