Ascension Sacred Heart is launching the area’s first Mobile Stroke Unit (MSU) in 2027. Made possible by a $2.4 million investment—part of a broader $7.25 million award to Ascension Florida through the state’s Rural Health Transformation Program—this custom-built emergency vehicle will bring advanced diagnostic technology, specialized expertise, and immediate treatment directly to patients in North Walton County and surrounding rural communities.
