St. Vincent's Hospital - Riverside, has been a part of St. Vincent's history dating back to 1873. We are a member of Ascension, one of the nation's largest Catholic and non-profit healthcare systems, known for our dedication to providing high-quality, compassionate care to everyone we serve. Our roots can be traced back to the DeSoto Sanitorium in Jacksonville's historic Springfield neighborhood, founded in 1916. When the Daughters of Charity took over, it became one of the first hospitals in Jacksonville. For over 145 years, Ascension St. Vincent's has been committed to providing healthcare services to the families of North Florida and South Georgia. Our dedication to these communities and our expansion to better meet our patients' needs reflect their significant role in our mission of providing specialized, comprehensive healthcare.
