Whether you’re seeking care, visiting a family member or friend, or accompanying a loved one to an appointment, there are many reasons why you may visit an Ascension location. To make your visit enjoyable, here’s more information about this location.
Visiting Hours & Guidelines
Daily: 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
To ensure the comfort of all hospital patients and visitors, please:
- Limit visitors to two at a time.
- Keep visits short and quiet.
- Don’t sit on the bed or use the lavatory in the room.
- If you have children under the age of 10, check in with a nurse.
Nursing staff may customize a patient's visiting hours based on their individual needs, and special restrictions may apply to the adult and adolescent mental health units, birth center, neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), intensive care, open heart and isolation rooms.
Family waiting rooms are available in Surgery, Intensive Care, Emergency and Birthing Departments.
Patient and visitor parking is available in designated lots and in the parking ramp located on the south side of the hospital. To visit the Breast Center or Children's Health Center, enter at the intersection of Oneida and Seymour Streets and park in the designated patient/visitor lot. If you need additional directions, please stop by the Welcome Center desk at the main entrance.
At Ascension, we understand the need for holistic care—mind, body and spirit—and how spirituality can play a significant role in a person’s health and happiness. That’s why we welcome and respect all faiths.
Ascension chaplains are available to provide companionship and emotional support to patients, families and staff. They offer ongoing visits, prayer, sacraments and grief support. To contact a chaplain in Ascension Spiritual Services department, please call 920-738-2655.
The St. Elizabeth of Hungary Chapel and Meditation Room, located on the first floor of St. Elizabeth Campus near the gift shop, is open 24 hours a day for prayer and meditation.
Stop by the Market Place for coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner options while visiting St. Elizabeth Campus.

Whether you’re shopping for a loved one, friend or neighbor, find unique items at the gift shops located at St. Elizabeth Campus. These gift shops are a major fundraiser of the hospital’s volunteers, and proceeds benefit their annual pledge the hospital services and programs.
Located at the main entrance of the hospital, the Gift Shop is operated by volunteers and offers home décor, baby gifts, cards, snacks, women’s clothing and fashion accessories, and more.

Located at the main entrance of the hospital, One Stop offers quick grab-and-go beverages, snacks and other unique items such as cards, books, balloons, and more. One Stop is operated by volunteers.

To communicate effectively and accurately, interpreter services are available for patients with language barriers or hearing problems 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This can include but is not limited to clinic visits, hospital admission and discharge, tests, treatments and surgeries, and patient education.

Ascension NE Wisconsin - St. Elizabeth Campus is smoke free.
At Ascension NE Wisconsin - St. Elizabeth Campus, we offer the hospitality of the Kathleen Mortell Rankin Hospitel to out-of-town families with relatives in the hospital. Its primary purpose is to provide a place of respite, shelter and hospitality for family members of critically ill or injured patients. Out-of-town patients needing to stay for a series of treatments including radiation, wound healing or rehabilitation are also welcome.
The Kathleen Mortell Rankin Hospital is located at 1310 S. Madison Street, across the street from Ascension NE Wisconsin - St. Elizabeth Campus. If you’re interested in staying at the hospital, please call the Security Department at 920-738-2300. The cost is $15 per room, per night. Anyone unable to pay the daily charge should advise the Security Department during registration.
