Emergency care close to home
Opening in early 2027, Ascension Via Christi's new 11,250-square-foot emergency care facility will bring around-the-clock emergency services closer to home for residents in west Wichita.
The facility will feature 2 triage rooms, 10 treatment rooms, onsite laboratory and advanced onsite imaging to provide high-quality, life-saving care when and where it's needed most.
Staffed by approximately 40 physicians and associates, the emergency department is expected to care for more than 10,000 patients each year, expanding access to compassionate, mission-driven care for the growing community.
