ABCs of Safe Sleep

A – Alone
Babies should sleep alone in their own sleep space.
- No pillows
- No blankets
- No stuffed animals
- No crib bumpers
- No sleep positioners

B – Back
Always place your baby on their back for every sleep.
- Naps and nighttime sleep
- Once babies can roll independently, they may remain in the position they assume

C – Crib
Babies should sleep in a safety-approved crib, bassinet, or portable play yard.
- Firm mattress
