Nonsurgical care

Ascension Texas Spine & Scoliosis provides advanced diagnostics, rehabilitation and nonsurgical spine care to relieve pain and restore mobility.

Diagnostics & evaluation

The program uses advanced diagnostic tools to better understand each patient’s condition and guide personalized treatment recommendations. Diagnostic evaluations may include X-rays to assess spinal alignment and bone structure, MRI and CT imaging to evaluate discs, joints, nerves and soft tissues, and myelograms to help determine the extent of spinal damage and whether surgery may be necessary. Pain-relieving injections may also be used to both reduce discomfort and provide valuable diagnostic insight into the source of pain. These tools help physicians develop targeted treatment plans focused on improving function, mobility and quality of life.
