Procedure Sedation Center

At Studer Family Children’s Hospital, our pediatric Procedure Sedation Center provides safe, child-focused sedation for imaging, tests, and minor procedures performed outside the operating room, with pediatric anesthesia support and certified child life specialists to reduce stress, anxiety, and pain using both medication and nonmedication approaches. We care for children of all ages, from infants one month and older to teens and young adults, including those with sensory needs or complex medical conditions. In collaboration with Nemours Children’s Health, pediatric anesthesiologists and specialists work alongside our teams to plan care, coordinate with your referring provider, and keep your primary care pediatrician informed, so your child has a calm, comfortable experience and you know what to expect before, during, and after the procedure.
