Ascension St. John Cardiopulmonary Rehab offers programs for cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation. These programs include:
- Cardiac Rehab – A medically-supervised exercise and education program designed to help improve your health and recovery from a heart attack, heart failure and other cardiac surgeries. Our care team customizes a plan for you to help you regain strength and confidence to return to your normal activities.
- Pulmonary Rehab – This program is designed to help those with a lung disorder or disease. We help you manage your symptoms, reduce your risk of infection and help slow the progression of your lung disease or disorder.
- Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) Rehab – Our walking program is designed to help reduce lower leg pain with activity, improve exercise capacity, reduce physical disability and help reduce cardiovascular events.
- Aquatic Cardiopulmonary Rehab – Cardiac and pulmonary rehab can be done in the pool. This is an option for those with orthopedic issues that limit traditional exercise.
