After a cardiac event or surgery, the Ascension Seton Cardiac Rehabilitation care team provides education, supervised exercise therapies, and dietary guidance. Some patients are in our telehealth monitoring program so we can routinely check your vitals and your implanted device (pacemaker, the WATCHMAN device or a defibrillator).
The Seton Heart Specialty Care and Transplant Center at Ascension Texas Cardiovascular is a regional heart transplant center and includes ventricular assist device therapy (VAD) as a bridge to transplant or destination therapy.
