Your care team is led by a neurologist certified in epileptic diagnostic testing, evaluation and treatment. To help diagnose your condition, we use brainwave testing with video-EEG monitoring, brain MRI and other tests to help understand the care plan that’s right for you.

Your epilepsy treatment options may include:

  • Medication therapy to help manage seizures with antiepileptic (anticonvulsant) medications
  • Vagus nerve stimulator (VNS) placement: a device implanted to stimulate a nerve that, over time, can stop seizures

A seizure is an emergency

When you or a loved one is experiencing a seizure emergency, it’s important to get care right away. Signs of a seizure may be different depending on the type.

Some seizures can cause:
