When you need care for a common illness or minor injury, Ascension St. John Virtual Urgent Care makes it easier to talk with a provider from the comfort of home. Schedule a same-day virtual visit for many non-emergency health concerns, including cold and flu symptoms, sinus infections, pink eye, stomach concerns, urinary symptoms, skin rashes and minor injuries.
During your virtual visit, an Ascension St. John provider will listen to understand your symptoms, answer your questions and recommend next steps. If medication is needed to help treat your symptoms, your provider will send a prescription electronically to your AscensionRX or preferred pharmacy.
Virtual visits are available:

About 10 minutes before your appointment, a member of our team will call you to complete a brief intake and ask a few questions about your symptoms. We'll also confirm that you have the Zoom app downloaded on your device and ready to use.
Our virtual visits are conducted over a secure network with your data and privacy carefully protected.
- Join your video visit
After your intake is complete, stay near your phone or device. The provider will send you the Zoom link via email or text, based on your preference. Your provider will discuss your symptoms, answer your questions and recommend next steps.

Your provider may recommend home care, prescribe medication, schedule follow-up care or recommend an in-person visit if additional care is needed.
