When you choose Ascension Seton, you are connected to all the care you and your baby need - for the most compassionate, personalized experience. Maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) specialists diagnose, treat and manage the care of expecting mothers with complex and high-risk pregnancies. Our board-certified and fellowship-trained MFM specialists are highly specialized OB-GYNs who have completed three additional years of training in high-risk pregnancy care. We work with doctors and specialists at Dell Children’s Comprehensive Fetal Care Center to deliver the highest level of specialized care for you and your baby before, during, and after delivery.
Our care team offers specialized care to women who are currently pregnant or planning to conceive to help ensure the best possible health outcomes for both the mother and baby. You may need care from an MFM specialist during pregnancy if you have existing medical conditions outside of pregnancy, experience new complications during pregnancy, or have a history of complications in a prior pregnancy. Throughout your pregnancy, we monitor your health and your baby’s health to detect any potential problems as quickly as possible so that treatment can begin immediately. We work with you and your OB-GYN so you can continue your routine prenatal care with your chosen doctor. Our team is here to provide ongoing supportive care to help ensure a safe and healthy delivery.
