- Vagus nerve stimulator (VNS) placement: a device implanted to stimulate a nerve that over time can stop seizures.

A seizure is an emergency
When you or a loved one is experiencing a seizure emergency, it’s important to get care right away. Signs of a seizure may be different depending on the type. Some seizures can cause:
