After you or a loved one have heart surgery, a stent, or an episode of congestive heart failure, cardiac rehabilitation care teams at Ascension sites of care support your recovery. Our goal is to deliver care to help you quickly recover, help keep your heart and lungs healthy and get you back to your daily activities sooner. Your cardiac rehabilitation care team works with you and your doctor on a rehabilitation and recovery care plan that’s personalized for you and your condition. Cardiac rehab may be part of your care plan after:
- Bypass surgery
- Congestive heart failure, diagnosis and treatment
- Coronary stent or angioplasty
- Heart attack
- Heart transplant or heart pump
- Heart valve replacement
- Treatment for angina
