Self-Pay Policy

For Those Without Health Insurance
Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s offers a 33% discount to any patient without health insurance. This discount does not apply to deductibles, co-pays, or co-insurance. To make a payment arrangement, contact one of our customer service representatives at the number listed below.

For patients requesting financial assistance, Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s has trained financial counselors available at each hospital. Upon making an appointment, the financial counselor will meet with you to review what other financial assistance programs you may qualify for.

Refund Policy

Refund requests should be submitted to the Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Customer Service Department.

If no money is owed on other accounts, refunds will be issued within 90 days of receipt of your request. Refunds will be issued with original method of payment. If money is owed on other accounts, the refund will be credited towards the oldest outstanding balance.
