Your care team will coordinate all aspects of your surgical care, answer your questions and provide dietary instructions. You’ll also receive a preoperative evaluation before your surgery and instructions on how to prepare for your surgery.
After your surgery, your recovery care team monitors your oxygen rate, blood pressure, breathing and other vital signs that may be affected by anesthesia or pain medication. When you are ready, your nurse provides home care instructions to you and your caregiver.
