Specialists at Ascension Saint Joseph - Chicago Inpatient Eating Disorders Unit provide highly-specialized care for adult patients 18 years and older struggling with eating disorders. These include anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), and other specified feeding and eating disorders (OSFED). The Inpatient Eating Disorders Unit is led by Elizabeth Sita, MD, Diplomate-ABPN and Lacey Lemke, PsyD. Your care team collaborates with the hospitalist team at Saint Joseph - Chicago. Together, we provide nutritional rehabilitation, including the use of nasogastric tubes, intravenous fluids, electrolyte repletion, and telemetry monitoring.
You are also supported by a multidisciplinary team of nurses, dieticians, therapists, and counselors.
