Group Exercise Classes

St. Vincent's One Nineteen Fitness Center delivers a wide range of exercise classes. Our programs are designed to help you reach your fitness goals. This includes building cardio, strength, endurance and flexibility. We provide a variety of group classes led by certified fitness instructors.

Classes Offered:

ABS A quick core workout that is guaranteed to tighten and tone your abdominals.

Body Pump™ by Les Mills The original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises 

Bootcamp An interval training class that mixes calisthenics and bodyweight exercises with cardio and strength training. With a new workout every week, these classes are designed to push you and to keep your body guessing. All fitness levels are welcome. 

Cardio & Core Emphasizing core strength and control, you will perform exercises that will focus on cardiovascular development and strength training in a variety of formats. 

C.A.R.E. Corrective and Rehabilitation Exercises: a fun and gentle class that integrates the fundamentals of Pilates and yoga and emphasizes the importance of body alignment and restoring proper movement patterns.

Flex and Tone Aqua Class Challenge your muscular strength using water as your resistance. This is a great workout for advanced weightlifters as well as beginners. Using water and speed to adjust your resistance, you can determine the level of intensity.

Gentle Aqua This class will increase the range of motion of joints, improve flexibility, muscular fitness, core strength, and posture. Gentle Aqua is located in the heated therapy pool. ( 90 to 92 degrees).

Glutes and Guns Fire up your glutes and strengthen the most powerful “movement engine” in your body - your hips! You will tone, tighten and engage your glutes as you perform multiple exercises that emphasize your lower body. In this 45-minute class you will compliment your glute workout with a powerful arm workout that will leave you feeling totally STRONG! Suitable for all fitness levels.

H.I.I.T. (High Intensity Interval Training) Interval training executed at high intensity by combining weightlifting, and cardio movements. H.I.I.T. is aimed at increasing the ten domains of fitness: cardio endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, agility, coordination, balance and accuracy. Appropriate for intermediate to advanced fitness levels. 

Hoop Looking for a new way to work your core, arms, and legs while staying low-impact? Try our Hula Hoop Dance Fitness class for a sure fun way to get a cardio and toning workout!

Roll, Stretch and Unwind A focus on deep stretching and restorative exercises utilizing a foam roller.

SAIL™ (Stay Active & Independent for Life) This class for older adults includes aerobics, balance exercises, strength training with wrist and ankle weights and stretching exercises. Classes are led by certified fitness instructors who have attended additional training specific to leading SAIL classes. Reservations required.

SPINNING® is a journey to health and fitness. Using a stationary bicycle, at your own pace, the certified SPINNING® instructor will guide you through a session that blends cycling technique, sound training principles and coaching to energize, challenge and inspire. SPINNING® classes are not competitive, monotonous or awkward. Every class is a venture to a new stronger place- both mentally and physically. (Class times vary from 30 minutes to 45 minutes)

Straight Up Strength High energy muscular strength and endurance workout using free weights. Class times vary from 30 to 60 minutes. Suitable for all levels. 

TONE by LesMills™ - This class offers the optimal mix of strength, cardio and core training. As a great foundational class, LesMill Tone™ has a wide variety of options which will accommodate all fitness levels, ensuring everyone leaves the workout feeling successful! 

Total Core - In this class, you will learn appropriate breathing, movement awareness, and control from the center in order to support the spine and pelvis as you strengthen your body from your core to your extremities.
