Conditions

Understanding the cause of joint pain, stiffness, muscle weakness or limited mobility is important to your overall health and quality of life. Whether you’re experiencing chronic pain, recovering from an injury or noticing changes in how you move, our orthopedic specialists work with you to diagnose your condition and create a personalized treatment plan focused on helping you move more comfortably and stay active.

We treat a full spectrum of orthopedic conditions, including:

Arthritis causes inflammation, pain, stiffness and swelling in the joints. Common types include osteoarthritis (sometimes called OA) and rheumatoid arthritis, which can affect movement, flexibility and daily activities over time.

Back and neck pain can develop from muscle strain, injuries, arthritis, spinal conditions or age-related changes in the spine. Symptoms may range from mild discomfort to severe pain that affects movement, sleep, work and daily activities.

A fracture is a break or crack in a bone caused by injury, falls, repetitive stress or weakened bones. Fractures can range from small cracks to more serious breaks that may require surgery or rehabilitation to heal properly.

Carpal tunnel develops when pressure on the median nerve in the wrist causes numbness, tingling, weakness, or pain in the hand and fingers. Symptoms often worsen with repetitive hand movements or prolonged wrist use.

Degenerative disc disease occurs when the discs between the bones of the spine wear down over time. This condition may cause pain, stiffness, weakness or numbness in the back, neck, arms or legs.

Foot and ankle conditions can make walking, standing, exercise and daily movement more difficult. Common conditions include arthritis, tendon injuries, fractures, sprains, bunions and plantar fasciitis.

Hand and wrist pain can develop from injuries, repetitive motion, arthritis, nerve compression or tendon inflammation. Symptoms may include discomfort, stiffness, swelling, weakness or difficulty with movement and everyday activities.

Hip conditions can develop from arthritis, injuries, overuse or age-related joint changes. Symptoms may include pain, stiffness, difficulty walking or reduced range of motion that affects daily activities.

Joint pain can affect the knees, hips, shoulders, hands, ankles and other joints throughout the body. It can result from injury, arthritis, inflammation or overuse and can range from mild discomfort to severe pain that limits movement.

Knee pain and injuries are common and may affect the ligaments, cartilage, tendons or bones within the joint. Conditions such as ACL tears, meniscus injuries, arthritis and overuse injuries can make walking, exercise and physical activity more difficult.

Osteoporosis is a condition that weakens bones and increases the risk of fractures. It develops when bone loss occurs faster than the body can replace bone tissue, causing bones to become more fragile over time.

The rotator cuff includes muscles and tendons that help stabilize and move the shoulder. Injuries can happen from overuse, repetitive motion, aging or sudden trauma and may cause pain, weakness or limited shoulder movement.

Sciatica causes pain that travels along the sciatic nerve, which runs from the lower back through the hips and down the leg. Pressure on the nerve from a herniated disc, bone spur or spinal condition often causes symptoms such as pain, numbness, tingling or weakness.

Shoulder conditions can affect movement, strength and comfort during daily activities. Arthritis, tendon injuries, instability, bursitis and rotator cuff tears are common causes of shoulder pain and limited range of motion.

Spinal stenosis is a narrowing of the spaces within the spine. This narrowing can put pressure on the spinal cord or nearby nerves. Symptoms vary depending on where the narrowing occurs and may include pain, numbness, tingling or weakness in the back, legs, neck, shoulders or arms.

Sports injuries affect muscles, bones, ligaments, tendons and joints during physical activity or exercise. Common injuries include sprains, strains, fractures, dislocations and overuse conditions that may affect mobility and performance.

Tendons connect muscles to bones, while ligaments connect bones to each other. Injuries to these structures can happen from sudden movement, overuse, sports injuries or trauma and may cause pain, swelling, instability or limited movement.
