Jason Davis, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained cardiologist who provides comprehensive cardiovascular care for adults at Ascension Texas Cardiovascular in Cedar Park, in the Austin area, as well as at Family First Healthcare–Lago Vista in Lago Vista, Texas. He diagnoses and treats a wide range of heart and vascular conditions, combining evidence-based medicine with a patient-centered approach to help patients achieve their best possible heart health.

Dr. Davis cares for patients with coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, hypertension, lipid disorders, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathies, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, cardiac rhythm disorders, and select adult congenital heart conditions. He has expertise in invasive cardiology and performs cardiac catheterization, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), cardioversion, pacemaker implantation—including transvenous and leadless pacemakers and left bundle branch area pacing—implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) placement, cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT-P and CRT-D), and subcutaneous ICD implantation.

Dr. Davis believes every patient should feel they are with the right physician at the right time and in the right place. His goal is for patients to feel safe, heard, and confident that he will do everything he can in their best interests while supporting their long-term cardiovascular health.

Before entering civilian practice, Dr. Davis served in the U.S. Army and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for service during Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), as well as the Army Commendation Medal. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC).

Dr. Davis earned his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and his medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He completed his internship, residency, and fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Davis enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, grilling, and exercising.
