Dr. Smith is originally from Eastern Kentucky but moved to Virginia Tech for medical school at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. She relocated to Indianapolis for her family medicine residency at St. Vincent Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident and graduated in 2017. Dr. Smith now serves as Program Director for the Family Medicine Residency Program.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Smith enjoys reading, baking and traveling as often as she can.
