Professional Statement

My passion for vascular surgery stems from a deeply personal connection, driven by my family's history of strokes and peripheral vascular disease. Growing up, I witnessed the profound impact these conditions had on my loved ones, fueling my desire to make a difference. The Midwest, with its higher prevalence of vascular issues, presents an opportunity for me to provide essential care and education within the community that mirrors my Midwestern roots. I am motivated to develop innovative treatment strategies and advocate for preventive measures that can change lives. My goal is to combine my medical expertise with a compassionate approach, ensuring patients receive the best possible care. This journey is not just a career choice; it’s a commitment to honor my family's struggles and contribute to the health and well-being of others facing similar battles.
