Vijay U. Rao, MD, PhD, is a board-certified, experienced cardiologist at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis and Greenfield, Indiana. Dr. Rao is the immediate past Governor of the Indiana Chapter of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), currently serves as the Co-Chair of the International Cardio-Oncology Society (IC-OS) Center of Excellence committee, and serves on the national ACC CardioOncology leadership council. He is on the editorial board of Heart Failure Clinics and is active in clinical research having published numerous articles in high tier journals.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Rao enjoys spending time with his family, reading, traveling, and playing tennis and golf.
