Dr. Elson completed her family medicine residency at Via Christi and served as Chief Resident and is a certified medical consultant in NaPro Technology - the medical application of natural family planning to treat gynecological disorders.

As a natural family planning physician, she does not regularly prescribe contraceptives. She is an active member of the Catholic Medical Association and volunteers regularly at the Guadalupe clinic.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Elson is a proud aunt and enjoys traveling, baking, and gardening.
