Sandra J. Schellhorn, APRN, MBA, is a board-certified acute care nurse practitioner specializing in cardiology at Ascension St. Vincent's Cardiology in Jacksonville and St. Johns, Florida. With nearly 20 years of advanced practice experience in cardiology and critical care, and more than 40 years of nursing experience, Sandra provides compassionate, patient-centered cardiovascular care focused on helping patients achieve their health goals.

Sandra takes the time to listen to her patients' concerns, understand their personal motivations, and learn about their health history. Sandra earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Saint Mary College in New York and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida. She also holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in management from Jacksonville University. She is board certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and is an active member of the Florida Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Since 2017, Sandra has cared for patients in both inpatient and outpatient cardiology settings at Ascension St. Vincent's, with a focus on general cardiology. As part of Ascension's multidisciplinary heart care team, she collaborates closely with specialists to provide comprehensive care for patients with cardiovascular conditions.

Originally from New York, Sandra has called Jacksonville home for more than 25 years. When not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time at the beach and with her family. She and her husband, her college sweetheart, are proud parents of three grown children and grandparents to three grandchildren.
