Mary Katie Wang, MD, is a board-certified, experienced urologist with sub-specialty certification in pediatric urology at Dell Children's Medical Group Urology in Austin and Cedar Park, Texas. Dr. Wang specializes in diagnosing and treating urinary tract and genital conditions in infants and children. She treats many conditions, including congenital malformations, genitalia conditions, urinary frequency, bed wetting, urinary tract infections, renal diseases and other complex conditions.

Dr. Wang starts by listening to understand your child and their symptoms. Then, she works with you to create a personalized care plan. Dr. Wang has the expertise to deliver advanced treatments, including surgical care. Our multispecialty team approach to care means that if your child's condition is more complex, Dr. Wang works with a team of pediatric specialists at Dell Children's and Ascension Seton to provide comprehensive care for your child.

Dr. Wang completed her training at the University of California San Francisco Benioff Children's Hospital. Prior to that, she completed her internship in General Surgery and her urology residency at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Wang earned her medical degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

Dr. Wang graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences from Texas A & M University in College Station, Texas. Dr. Wang was involved in several research studies during her training involving outcomes-based research and patient satisfaction.

Dr. Wang has a special interest in international medicine and has traveled to Rwanda and South Africa to provide surgical care to underserved patients.
