A member of Phi Beta Kappa and the UMBC Honors College, he has been recognized with numerous academic awards, including the Delegate Scholarship Award and UMBC President's Fellow Award.

In addition to his clinical training, Dr. Khan has contributed to impactful research at institutions including the University of Maryland Medical Center and Johns Hopkins Hospital, with published work and presentations on infectious diseases, ophthalmology, and family medicine procedures.
