About Michael Delee Loeb, MD
Dr. Loeb is fellowship trained in shoulder and elbow surgery and specializes in arthroscopy and joint replacement. He has a special interest in sports injuries as well as advanced joint reconstruction of the upper extremity. Dr. Loeb, a native of New Orleans, graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Zoology. He attended the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center at New Orleans where he was awarded the Seese-Voors Scholarship for academic achievement. In addition, he was an elected member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, an honor given to those students graduating in the top ten percent of their class. Dr. Loeb completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at The University of Tennessee-Campbell Clinic and received his fellowship training under Professor Christian Gerber, a recognized world authority on surgery of the shoulder. In addition, he served as a visiting clinician at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota where he received additional training management of complex disorders of the elbow.
