About
Jason R. Hubbard, MD, FAANS, FACS, is a board-certified neurosurgeon with Howell Allen Clinic with Ascension Saint Thomas in Nashville, Franklin and Clarksville, Tennessee. Dr. Hubbard provides minimally invasive brain and spine surgery for adult patients. He also specializes in the management of sports concussions.
Dr. Hubbard was the first neurosurgeon to perform a minimally invasive spine surgery in Nashville. He has a special interest in robotic spine surgery and laser interstitial therapy to treat brain tumors through small incisions resulting in less recovery time. He strives to treat each patient as though they were family.
Dr. Hubbard is a Fellow of the American Academy of Surgeons and has received numerous awards, including the TIAAA's distinguished service award for his concussion program with area high schools and Medtronic's award for teaching minimally invasive spine courses to other surgeons. He was named one of Nashville's top doctors by Nashville Lifestyles magazine.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Hubbard enjoys spending time with his wife and five children, volunteering with Christ Presbyterian Church and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and running marathons.
