Christopher Yun, DO, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult joint reconstruction at Ascension Seton Williamson, with clinics in Georgetown and Round Rock, Texas. He provides compassionate, evidence-based care for patients with hip and knee conditions, including hip replacement, knee replacement, hip and knee replacement revision surgery, knee arthroscopy and orthopedic trauma surgery.

A graduate of the Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Yun completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Michigan State University–Garden City Hospital, including trauma training in Detroit. He went on to complete advanced fellowship training in adult reconstruction at Gulf Coast Adult Reconstruction Fellowship in Pensacola, Florida, where he focused on primary and revision total hip and knee arthroplasty.

Dr. Yun’s approach to care combines modern surgical techniques and technologies with clear education, compassion and trust. “I’ve always been driven by the desire to help people regain their strength and independence. We have the unique opportunity as a joint surgeon to help those in pain and need and that responsibility is not lost on us.” says Dr. Yun. “Orthopedics has allowed me to make a lasting difference in my patients' lives. I hope to make a difference in our new home here in Texas!” He is also able to provide care to patients in both English and Korean.

He is a member of the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery, American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Yun enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, various outdoor activities, competitive marksmanship and water-sports. He has contributed to numerous volunteer initiatives, including youth sports coverage, MMA ringside physician, and local health and wellness events.
